The Florida Gators rallied late to beat the Houston Cougars 65–63 in the battle of No. 1 seeds in the men's NCAA tournament championship game Monday night in San Antonio.

The Gators overcame a 12-point deficit to capture their first national title since 2007 and third in program history.
